 What really works on the Internet for Silver Snowball?
At least 80% of the time I spend on Silver Snowball is spent doing advertising. That includes several different forms or concepts of advertising and at least an hour every day sending ads. You don't have to create these ads because I already have everything you need. But you do need to call me to get it put in place for you. Let's discuss some of these advertising systems. 1. Traffic Exchanges: When I build your website on my server, I make 4 pages for you. The first page is designed to be used on both the traffic exchanges and the search engines (more about search engines later). I then send an email to every new customer and give you the addresses to each of your 4 pages, and short instructions on how to use them. If you didn't get that email you need to call me, and I will resend it. Then we need to spend at least an hour when you can be in front of your computer, and on the phone with me. All 4 pages have features that stop people cold in their tracks on the traffic exchanges. See our listing of traffic exchanges and email safelists here. A traffic exchange is a membership site where you can join without charge and surf other members websites on a timer (usually 10 or 15 seconds per view) in order to get credits for other members to visit your site when they are surfing. Think about it. This is direct traffic to your website in real time. These are people who are highly qualified because they are smart enough to be promoting something already on the Internet, and they already know they need traffic and are doing something to get it. Who would you like to have in YOUR business? Someone who has never tried website marketing, or someone who is already doing it? Our experience is that most people who are marketing on the Internet are looking for something that works better, or is more in front of a buying trend, than what they are currently doing. They look for simplicity, and timeliness. They look for systems and programs that are just getting started. They look for opportunities that are ahead of a major trend in the market. What better than Silver Snowball in a currency collapse? What better than Silver Snowball when people are trying to protect themselves and their assets? There are literally hundreds of traffic exchanges with combined membership in the millions. The whole concept of traffic exchanges is in it's infancy. They are getting better all the time. About 30% of the people we have signed in Silver Snowball have come from Traffic Exchanges. 2. Email Safelists: A safelist is essentially a traffic exchange that works through your email address. You join the list, agreeing to receive email from other members about their business opportunities. I would highly recommend that you get a free www.gmail.com account for this for several reasons. Gmail never throws your mail in the trash before you have had a chance to see the email, and they have a bulk delete feature so you can catch up easily. When you get an email from a safelist it will have a credit link in it. When you click on the credit link a page will open and that member's website will appear, with a timer running for 10 or 15 seconds. Once the timer runs out you can close the page and you have received the credit. That means that someone else will get YOUR email and look at YOUR PAGE in a similar fashion. The advantage to safelists is that you get far more credits and page views for reading one email than with a traffic exchange. The disadvantage is that you get lots of email, and your emails have to get through the spam filters. We have designed special ads for this, that get through the spam filters and they are yours for the asking. In fact one of the 4 pages we build is designed just for that purpose and should be used exclusively on safelists. You have to call me to find out which one and how to use it. There are several variations of safelists, and I use them all, but not all at the same time. I will focus on one or two for a week, and really try to saturate their system and get some traffic. Then I will move on to a couple different ones for a week or two and do the same thing. The idea is that when you start to use a new safelist, or traffic exchange you really want to pour it on for a while and get some real visibility. Search Engine results: The first page we build is designed to be submitted to the search engines for inclusion in their search results. It has all the right components to be search engine friendly including the right keyword density, the right meta tags, description, content, audio, video, and more that will help you get found. To prove what I am saying about that page, just go to www.google.com and type Silver Snowball in the search box. My site at www.silversnowball.net will show up close to the top of the page. That didn't happen by accident. Notice also that my site shows up at number one position out of 1 million 140 thousand results for that search term. You can get results like that also if you do the right things with the pages I build for you. Here is a great utility you can use to submit your site to the top 40 search engines and directories. http://pstramer.leadsomatic.com/. You can also use that system to submit to over 2 Billion sites for just $10 per month, and you can do unlimited submissions with the Leadsomatic system for your own customers. There is lots more to learn about search engines, but suffice it to say that all the hard stuff has been done for you already when I built your site. This is one of the biggest reasons to have your own domain name rather than just submitting Ed's site directly to the search engines. The site I build gives you a completely unique domain name, rather than a domain that is the same as every other Silver Snowball subscriber. It gives you a much better chance of getting to the top of a search result. Here is another system that will submit your site to the search engines automatically month after month. Go ahead and make a small donation (I gave him $15 this year) and the site will re-submit every 45 days without your attention. You can also use all my Veretekk portal pages without any charge. These are pages that offer free submission services where you can send classified ads or submit your website page addresses to millions of other sites, such as classified ads sites and directories, remote submissions search engines, search directories, newsletter sites, blogs and other sites. You can build it in Word or just send an email and a picture and I will put the page on your Silver Snowball website with a link to it from your front page. That will help you brand what you do, and it gives people confidence they are working with a professional. 4. Portal Marketing and List Building: The above links are part of a huge system of marketing pages available that run on almost 500 tier one blade servers that are the largest server farm on the Internet for network marketing. The system is owned by Tom Prendergast and Mike Darling of Inetekk and the system is called Veretekk. Just go ahead and get your own Silver system at zero cost and learn all you can about this concept over time. http://pstramer.veretekk.com Portal marketing is a concept where you offer a service without charge to your prospective customer or lead, and when they use that service they opt in to your list so you can send them more email or announce your business. This all happens automatically when they find your portal page. It might be a submission page like Blastomatic or it might be a classified ad site where they can submit unlimited classified ads for their own business like my site at Free Ads. This is relationship marketing. You are not SELIING them anything. You are giving them a very valuable service, and asking them for their email address and phone number. Then when they use the service you can call them and offer other free services and introduce them to your portal marketing system, then eventually to your Silver Snowball business. You are building a relationship with a new person, and after you help them to promote their own business they will trust your judgement on what is working and what they should look at. This is the absolute best way to build a mailing list, and using Veretekk over the last year and a half we now have a mailing list of over 35 thousand people that we can sent anything we want once per week. So now if something new comes along and it fits with what we are doing, like some new advertising system, or some real deal on Silver coins, we can announce it to our list and get some immediate response. The money is in the list! 5. Total business automation in a box: Automation is the key to survival on the Internet. The more automation you have, the more profit you will make. The Internet is all about exposure, and automation. The Internet is the largest marketplace on earth. More millionaires have been made on the Internet than anywhere in history. The reason? People can get tons of information instantly and without cost. That was never possible before. Some people are not inclined to put in hours on a computer, and they just want to put something in motion, and check it once a day, and be successful. Some people are not afraid to spend a little money rather than hours of time. Some people, like me, don't mind spending some time, AND a little money promoting their business. One thing they all have in common: They all use systems. People can not be duplicated, but systems can!
